ETHOS - P-J DE VILLIERS
Artist and Ethos-organizer Peter-John de Villiers aka The Shallow Tree is based in rural Norway, but making an international impact. Most recently seen at the Human Nature 3 exhibition in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Born i South Africa, now living in rural Norway, Peter-John de Villiers is the curator and organizer of the Ethos exhibition. His commercial clients span from Vimana Snowboards to Mercedes-Benz with a leaning towards boardsports and music. His paintings, drawings and prints has been exhibited in NYC, London, San Fransisco, Mexico City, Oslo and the Gold Coast, Australia.

"ETHOS" Art Exhibition
The attitude of freewill and self-expression that snowboarding embraces has shaped and influenced a genre of art and a thriving subculture of its own. Personal expression has set the tone for a wide variety of styles and artistic interpretations of the lifestyle.
Our first movement is to host the “Ethos” exhibition on June 16th at Revir Galleri in Oslo, Norway.
Artist and Curator Peter-John de Villiers has assembled a group of key artists that represent a wide spectrum within the genre. These seven creatives have had an impact on the visual aesthetic we see in snowboarding today.
